This project is an Oxidized Maple Natural Edge Table with a clear epoxy Topcoat. This one of a kind piece is treated with a custom formulated oxidizing solution that emphasizes the natural grain and curls of this solid 3inch thick Maple Slab. The results are absolutely stunning and will draw attention no matter what environment it is placed.

The item in the pictures is SOLD, we are happy to do custom orders, but please contact us first. The Oxidized finish is available on custom projects of any size, but is currently limited to Maple material.

Oxidizing emphasizes the natural ageing process of wood and brings out color and detail that cannot be accomplished with commercial stains or dyes. The 1/8 inch thick Epoxy seals everything completely and creates a durable 3D finish that can withstand wet, dry, hot or cold.

The dimensions are approx 36 inches round.


The table top is totally flat on the bottom and is compatible with any base of comparable size. I think it would look fantastic as coffee table on a small wine barrel, or a more modern metal ribbon style base. I am happy to custom fabricate a base or work with you on creating plans/concepts to fit your space.
