Board-and-batten siding, black-framed windows and a covered entry porch on a 4,254 sq ft new build in Seattle. Designed, permitted and built in-house.

Seated island with stone counters, a stainless chimney hood and floor-to-ceiling cabinetry built by our own cabinet shop.

The island anchors the open plan, with clear sightlines from the range through the living area to the yard.

Linear pendant over the dining table with upholstered seating and oversized windows framing the back garden.

Open living area off the entry, with a coved ceiling, recessed lighting and a black-framed glass front door. The stair beyond carries a horizontal steel rail.

A vaulted two-story entry with a sputnik chandelier, a black-framed front door with full-height sidelights, and sightlines straight through to the dining room.

A black steel rail runs the full two-story rise against a charcoal feature wall, with the kitchen and living area opening off the entry. Framing, steel and finish carpentry were all self-performed.

A full run of custom shaker cabinetry with a stone counter and undercounter beverage refrigeration, set beneath a window and finished with brushed hardware. Cabinets built in our own shop.

A cedar pergola with a hanging bench anchors the back lawn. The mature trees on the lot were protected and kept through construction.
