Motivated by the client’s eclectic taste and semi-casual lifestyle as well as existing elements in this Palm Beach home such as beautiful hardwood floors and a classic white kitchen, the interior spaces were rejuvenated and enhanced by the use of tailored, elegant pieces, each with their own definitive individual style. Critical to this home was defined, careful space planning to better work with the space, style, design, as well as the desired function of the rooms. The serene but unique color pallet of beige tones along with fresh accents in plums, greens and gold, along with the use of dark iron and antique mirror set the tone for providing a sophisticated but relaxed Southern Florida retreat for the homeowners with a nod to its Palm Beach Location.

Essential to the design concept was the strategic opening and expansion of a wall dividing the Living room and the Den to create a more spacious and truly livable space which includes a pop-up plasma TV that can swivel between rooms and a desk where the homeowner can plug in his laptop. In the entry, we opened up a long narrow hallway by creating a large niche console and installing an oversized framed mirror and sconces. Borrowed space from a hall closet helped to make the hallway appear larger.

Soft tones of white, cream and platinum with punches of fuchsia & lime were selected for the tailored, modern upholstered pieces with a twist on traditional silhouettes for the Master Bedroom working in harmony with the living areas and creating a soft inviting habitat.
