Meeting with our client for the first time they had somewhat of an idea of what kind of remodel they were looking for. Vladimir Factor owner and head designer of Factor Design Inc, told them he had a vision after walking the project. He decided to utilize the existing layout of the unit to transform the look and feel with unique and high-end finishes. We handpicked all the materials together and created a uniform and cohesive design. The wood floors we had chosen were 7.5 inches by random plank, dark maple which would run the majority of the unit and would help extenuate the tall ceiling withing a face. Moving onto the master bathroom, the Client had met at a slab yard, an affiliate of Factor Surfaces, to hand choose the four slabs of Calakata Gold to finish the master shower and master bathroom floor. We then match the slabs on the shower walls and did the full piece of the slab with the shower floor to provide a seamless master shower. Then we took the same material and matching tiles to finish of the master bathroom floor and master bathroom base molding. For the guest bathroom our client loved the tile from Porcelanosa and which was provided by Factor Surfaces to finish off the guest bathroom floor and walls. We decided to wrap the entire bathroom wall and floors to create a modern plain and tasteful finish. Moving towards the kitchen we used a modern style cabinet with an absolute black counter top to extenuate the Calakata gold tile floors. We used a bevel size marble mosaic along with stainless steel appliances to create a clean and functional space. This project took 9 weeks to finish and was a challenge given the hours of operations in the building, but Vladimir Factor and his team were able to pull it off. The overall finish product was beautiful contemporary and neat, and came out to be the exact thing our client had envisioned. Let us build your dream home!
