A friend called me one afternoon told me that her diplomat friend needs my help to find the appropriate furnitures for her living room in a newly rented apartment in Paris. When I came to visit the large apartment I understood immediately why the living room furniture had to be changed. It is what they call in Paris a reception apartment, very big entry, living room and dining room which is meant for formal receptions. There was no renovation to be done but basically to purchase proper furnitures, lighting, decoration and its layout in the room. I worked with her throughout to guide her from selection, to plan layout, negotiation, purchased, until it is properly delivered and placed.
