This home will be built using basalt unearthed on-site and locally sourced cedar—materials that root it gently in its natural context. A butterfly roof and clerestory windows provide soft, natural, ambient light deep to the interior of the home. The open plan flows around central gathering spaces, framed by natural textures and clean lines that balance warmth with clarity.
