Pendleton North Hill Remodel

We used the same footprint for this lovely kitchen remodel, updating with new Dura Supreme cabinets, granite counters, updated mud room, and new pantry cabinets. The general contractor was Ryco Construction of Pendleton; cabinet installation by Steve Fincher Contracting, LLC of La Grande; granite counters by SBN Granite in Richland, WA, and backsplash tile by Luke's Carpet in Kennewick, WA.

Tiger granite rests on Dura Supreme's Nob HIll cabinets in cherry, Mission with black accent. We added storage in the back of the island and I used styled end panels at the end of each exposed run. I added contrasting rope molding to the riser and crown molding.

We allowed space to replace the microwave and put tray dividers over the refrigerator and also over the microwave. The pullout wicker baskets hold onions and potatoes. The corner appliance garage with wood spin trays attached to the adjustable shelves is deeper to hold more appliances.

The wall separating the bar storage from the beverage fridge was weight-bearing. My husband, Dan Biggs, built the leaded glass doors to echo the pattern in their front door sidelights.

Before of the bar area. The customer did not use the left side for a sit-down desk, so I added a wall cabinet that has cubby holes behind the doors and they utilized the base cabinets for more bar storage.

Open cubbies sit over beadboard back with extra coat hooks. The boot bench deep drawer unit is topped with granite. The tall cabinet gives three feet of extra storage. The crown molding includes the insert of rope in black.

The customer worked directly with Closets to Go in Tigard, Oregon, after I measured and provided the drawings for their walk-in pantry. My cabinet installer, Steve Fincher put the units together.
