This is a fully welded pewter countertop. This is not "Slip Cast" / Sprayed-On pewter, which some manufacturers produce. Sprayed pewter creates a gritty texture and appearance, which doesn't allow for smooth finishes. Welded pewter preserves the delightful smooth feel of the metal, like authentic French pewter.
This is a short pewter countertop that we made in 2012, which was used as a spice shelf. It features an embossed braid edge, and is completely smooth. It's made from a single sheet of pure pewter, and has a natural matte finish.

On our website you can also see a variety of other custom countertops. We can make them out of copper, zinc, pewter, bronze, and stainless steel. Our tops are EASY to install. We'll build your custom countertop and then install it on wood substrate, so all you have to do is set it in place and secure it with screws. If you already have a solid surface in place, we can ship your custom countertop without the wood, and you can glue it down over your existing counter top.
