Customer wanted a functional island with plenty of storage, bright colors, great contrast, and functionality.

The tile was chosen as the inspiration for the entire design. The gold, teal, and brown in the glass tile can get a little overwhelming. Clean, white cabinets give the tiles the stage that they deserve.

The bronze faucet and undermount sink came from atgstores.com as well. Notice the outlet and switchplate covers that also tie in wonderfully (although not installed at the time of the picture).

I cannot say enough about the customer's choice of glass here. It worked so well in justifying the backsplash. This was the work of a local glass company.

A lighter color on the wall in the same teal family keeps the Oasis coloresd island and range hood from becoming the teal "elephant" in the room. Part of the design was to create a room that would look great in Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
