Seattle architect Robert Edson Swain renovated a small home in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood, turning the one-car garage into a master suite, and adding a lower level guest room and bar underneath the existing home. This urban residential lot has been transformed into an asian-inspired garden escape, where one forgets any sense of how close their neighbors really are.
