Phoenix - Encanto - Mediterranean

This is the master bedroom in this 1927 total gut and remodel. It is always important when designing to accept what character comes with the room and work with it. The clients fell in love with this bed, so the best option was on this angle.

This bathroom has many fond memories for me as it was the first renovation where I actually fell through the floor! Luckily I got stuck in between the floor joists! This is part of the 1927 one that I totally gut and remodeled! All fixtures and tile available through JAMIESHOP.COM

In wanting to retain the character of this little powder room, I kept the original medicine cabinet and the original window. When working with time period ones, always be true to the color palette that wold have existed.

This part of the kitchen was actually a walk in pantry. I am not always a big fan of walk in party's as I think you are taking up too much space. I prefer an open kitchen. To obtain the more characteristic style of Mediterranean I did a custom color on the cabinets and then put a glaze over them....

When I started this project, the house was Pepto pink, no frieze above the door and an small Juliette balcony. Amazing when you get a color right and add some classic touches!
