PINK 53'
Pink 53’ reimagines the renovation of an old apartment within a 1953 Berlin social housing building, preserving its history while introducing a bold new identity. The worn yellow of the original walls, marked by aged wallpaper, remains as a testament to time, while deep reds and soft pinks define the newly structured spaces. Wood and steel serve as the project’s primary materials, reinforcing a balance between warmth and industrial character. The images capture the apartment as a lived-in space, filled with everyday objects, plants, and personal touches. Rather than presenting an empty architectural shell, the images depict the rhythms of daily life, offering a glimpse into the atmosphere and intimacy of the home once inhabited.
