Bunk Room (2009 Platinum Award: Interior Specialty): This particular project started out as a request to build out a space in the basement of a client's summer home where they could set up a bunk room for their children and their friends. As our discussions progressed the project started to take on a life of its own; one of the owners suggested we create the feel of an old sailing ship. “Not a tacky Sponge Bob look or something to scare the little ones but rustic and seafaring”. That was pretty much the end of their input, the rest was left to us.
