In this West Van home walls were removed and structural beams added so that an open-plan kitchen could be achieved. The kitchen is a chef's dream with an expansive satin granite island, stainless steel countertops, bamboo and white gloss cabinetry, and Sub Zero and Wolf appliances. Additional windows and sliding doors in the kitchen were added and the relocation of other sliding doors in the living room were installed to ensure a nice flow from the inside to the outside with newly constructed patio spaces for entertaining.

A guest room off a private landscaped patio and spacious laundry room installed with a Miele Washer and Dryer, heated tile floors and high gloss cabinetry were created downstairs in the unfinished basement.
The frameless glass guard rails along the front of the home and the architectural concrete work complement the home's character, giving it a contemporary feel.
