Low water doesn't have to mean desert plants. This low water garden takes very little maintenance and water because the plants were chosen carefully. This client was very involved in choosing colorful yet compact plants that will retain their beauty most of the year. Being close to the beach means that it is very sandy soil which drains off water fast. We utilized drip lines, plus bark and large pebbles to retain as much water as possible.
