Playhouse of Yesteryear Becomes a Garden Retreat of Today
Once upon a time, little girls and boys frolicked in a playhouse tucked into a corner of a grand 1912 estate on Sea View Avenue in Piedmont designed by the renowned architect Willis Polk. When the estate's land was sub-divided in 1984, the playhouse was allocated to a lot on Hampton Court. After the meticulous restoration of this Victorian playhouse, a beautiful garden sanctuary is now enjoyed by the present owners.
