Point Clear Plantation
CDC Woodworking recently completed this renovation in conjunction with Blume Construction, and nationally recognized architect Ken Tate (Architectural Digest 100). CDC completed all cabinetry design and construction as well as the construction of the SOSS hinge white oak interior doors. White Oak was resawn, and veneers created to create random vertical grain boards, in 4 different widths. CDC completed all aspects of material construction, from resaw of raw material through multiple stages of veneer edge-gluing and lamination to create this extremely unique material which was used throughout the entire home. Absolutely zero imperfections were acceptable in the oak. Point Clear Plantation is extremely unique and unprecedented in the amount of labor and detail. Exterior photos are included as this is such an amazing home.
