This new waterfront residence was constructed for vacation time. The clients wanted the home to have a traditional feel, minus the dark color scheme and antiques that one might expect to find. Instead they chose to have the designer work with light contemporary finishes and re-design the blueprint kitchen and living areas to open them up to one another. A strong use of traditional mill work and built-ins were incorporated to keep the traditional feel.
