The vacuum is used to pull the air from beneath the liner, while you simultaneously fill the pool to help push the air out, giving you those beautifully clean corners without any wrinkles on the bottom and sides of the pool.

After the vacuum is turned on. You can clearly see the difference now that the air is being sucked out, the liner is beginning to take the shape of the pool. Notice the liner is still across the stairs from side to side. This still needs to be cut out so the air doesn't have anywhere to re-enter...

First drops of water in the pool!!! As the water continues to fill the pool, the air will be sucked out by the vacuums and the liner will fit perfectly in place. The stairs have been cut in and the pool is ready to be filled completely!!
