Poolside Shade in Phoenix

Regular home in the city with small backyard space that isn't usable with 9 months of hot sun. By putting up a few beams and running the canopy from the house to the beams there is an extension of usable area all year round that looks good and is relatively maintenance free.

Large home with limited space and the homeowner wanted a pool and shaded hang out area and to have it still give the feeling of openness. After pool was dug and the rear Beam structure installed.

Only the house was there with no other side to use as support for the shade since it needs to sides to attach to that are sturdy so they built a simple beam structure with 2 posts going up and a third to provide a place to attach the canopy to that is the same height as the other attaching side...

The house had stucco covering the outside so with long screws and anchors we installed in the the header beam that was 4 inches behind the stucco and sealed with silicon to prevent any cracking or leaks in the future.

The shade was in 2 sections that were 7' wide and 4' long panels. The 5 panels were one row and the second the same but the client chose to have the pattern to make it stand out and match their pool relaxing theme and decor.
