With the dual aims of reducing irrigation needs and creating habitat to support native wildlife, a typical suburban lawn was transformed into a meadow.
Over 1,000 square feet of turf grass was entirely replaced by prairie-inspired native plantings transected by a generously-proportioned new walkway of reclaimed, quarried granite.
A custom-fabricated, 300-gallon reflecting basin of powder coated aluminum adds light and motion by reflecting the surrounding woods.
