The ultimate closet
We expanded this bedroom into the room next door to create this niche. On the opposite side of the room, we added closets which look like built-in cabinets.

Tudor style bed alcove
We took out the closet for this bedroom to find room for a small private bath. We built these armoire-style closets to replace the lost closet space. We added a bench between them to create a little window seat. It's slotted on the back to allow the radiator heat to flow up behind it. So, cozy AND...

We lovd the round room, and decided to accentuate it with a dome. So we cut the ceiling joists, beefed up the roof a little and installed the Plastrglas dome. it came in two pieces. They can cast almost any shape you want. We saved a little money by getting a dome that they already had molds for....

Master bedroom walk-in closet, complete with laundry! Just to the left of the stacked washer/dryer is a small folding surface and pull-out laundry bins. The center island has a granite top and drawers.
