The project consists in re-designing from the grownd up the master bedroom and the ensuite bathroom, as well as a guest bathroom (Jack & Jill type with access from two guest bedrooms). Custom furniture, custom wall unit, custom drapery, crown molding, and custom wall trim transforms this bedroom in a luxurious retreat. Soft background is punctuated by colour (the client's favourite blues and greens). The custom wall unit provides lots of storage, an elegant vanity table, dressers and a bench.
The master ensuite bathroom combines feminine with masculine elements. A soft pallette of whites and light greys is juxtaposed by a custom cabinet painted in the perfect navy colour. Custom made roman blind and yellow accent in art bring just the right softness through texture to balance the hard materials.
The gest bathroom was designed with luxury in mind. Marble floor, marble mosaic shower floor and marble elongated subway tiles installed vertically in the shower add warmth to otherwise an austere white space. Black is used for contrast (a client wish) and brass is used as accent.
