As they got older, the family’s 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter each wished for a way to divide their shared bedroom into spaces they could call their own. Dividing their shared bedroom into two separate required some creativity within the 14 foot wide townhouse. A solution that stacked the sleeping spaces made the division of space feel ample and added an element of fun to each of the distinct bedrooms. Simple but carefully detailed mill-work throughout the limited space makes each of the two resulting bedrooms “look and feel” like much larger spaces.
