Providence Springs Residence

A great room was converted to 2 floors, the lower level continued to be the family room and the room above became a bonus play room. During the remodel we also refreshed the kitchen, turned the laundry room into a mudroom, and created a new laundry room and linen closet upstairs.

This kitchen was refreshed by painting the cabinets, adding a trash pull-out to the island, changing the island granite, and removing cabinetry near the refrigerator.

The wall used to be solid above the kitchen nook bench. We kept the supporting post, but opened the space to bring the two rooms together.

We have the light/dark juxtaposition, again, in this area. The stained buit-in and the stone fireplace give a casual feeling to the family room.
