Raising the roof

I was contacted by this client to add a small sloped roof to the top of their flat roof garage, so that they no longer had to shovel the snow off in the winter, and everything inside would stay dry. I was directed to a couple houses down the street that had a shed roof sttle put on, (to describe it ) a low slope going in one direction and normally the shortest length. I drove around the neighbour hood a couple blocks in each direction, to see if any other styles may have been used as most of the homes were of the same design.
After seeing what was around and doing up a couple sketches, I wanted to offer a cottage stlye roof line matching the existing pitch. After the clients approval the draftsmen was contacted, and all permits required were pulled.
Although the project was delayed a few weeks, I still managed to finish the project before any heavy snowfalls occured.
The project turned out amazing adding curb appeal on top of the functionality of keeping everything dry and being able to throw away that shovel !
Project Cost: $10,001 - $25,000
