A home for a family that craves for a peaceful getaway during the weekends. The site, situated around 50 km from the city of Cochin is an unassuming and tucked-away residential pocket. Being naturally picturesque, the brief was to create a home that is not a very imposing volume, but at the same time adheres to all their requirements paying very close attention to nature and inviting them in certain parts of the home. The spaces, largely open brings in an air of openness and tranquil enabling the users to relax as and when they come. Natural light plays a key role in adding character to the spaces. The house was designed in such a way that the spaces were conceived from the inside to the out, and the materiality of the exteriors had been kept lucid. And thus a tale of simplicity was born which is always best told in white.
