This house 20 year old estate didn't have the kind of kitchen you would expect. We expanded the eating area by closing in the porch and making it part of the kitchen design. The #1 design challenge was the client didn't want to see the dining table from the front door. The porch area was the only place we could go out for additional space for the dining table. We also took out several columns and arches so the home is now very open and feels spacious with the 10' ceilings. New windows, hardwoods, really tie it all in together.
