Ranch Style Redo
When we came upon this small ranch style home it was completely stuck in the 70's. The gold veined mirrored wall, dark cork wall, and shag carpet were completely stripped away and replaced with solid walnut hardwood floors and white wainscoting. As was typical of many houses built during this time period, there was no overhead lighting. Recessed lighting, art lighting and pendant lighting were added to bring light to each space. The TV was hung above the stairs going down to the basement to maximize the living space in the small living room. A large, fun rug anchors the space and the wall art adds a needed pop of color. The walnut floors lead down the hall to the main bathroom and master bedroom and en suite.
