Recovery Treatment Program, Dunwoody
This is a Recovery Treatment program campus that I was hired to furnish, decorate, choose color palette, window treatments & artwork. My goal was to provide a warm, comfortable environment that did not appear sterile or hospital-like. I also wanted it to appeal to many varying styles & tastes. So I combined multiple ideas w/color, with green as a thread that runs through all of the spaces, tying them together & instilling a sense of nature. The entry was done in a pale turquoise, brown & green with a warm Mission-style flavor. The Reception Area is done in varying shades of green, with red & taupe accompaniments. It is comfortably furnished as if sitting in a den, with a style that is prominently Transitional, with traditional undertones. The counselor's offices, conference rooms & meeting rooms are done in varying shades of green & turquoise, in a Transitional style with contemporary touches. The overall outcome is one of comfort & sanctuary.
