Red River Cabin

This cabin is a family heirloom. Built in the upper valley of Red River it was originally used strictly as a summer home. The client spent most of her childhood summers there in the meadow and river bottom below. The plan was to make the cabin functional in the winter and update the kitchen and bath to make it more comfortable for adults. The addition was built with much bigger logs to give it a more substantial presence and provide more significant insulation values.
