We took these photos just as we were finishing up the renovation of this stunning home on the top of a mountain in what everyone who knows about this part of the world considers 'God's Country' in northwestern Connecticut. The cabinets are in Walnut with the "Pure Oil" finish from Quality Custom Cabinetry. This is a 'green' finish that is very easily maintained and so pure that you can eat off of it! The Glass tile backsplash is from Mixed Up Mosaics in NYC. The countertop is polished Carrara marble. Due to the large size of the Island, we created 3 levels to avoid unsightly seams. And of course, no space would be complete without state-of-the-art lighting.
