This 1956 bungalow was built to last, being constructed of brick from the basement all the way up. While the brick construction was solid, it posed challenges when relocating electrical wires and additional labor to relocate windows compared to traditional wood construction. The house had a single attached garage on the left side which was converted into the current kitchen and dining room. The bricks that were removed between the house and garage were carefully cleaned and reused to fill in the garage door opening and other windows that were relocated throughout. A small addition on the front allowed for a proper entrance with closet and some serious curb appeal. The walnut cabinetry and interior doors add warmth to the white walls and white hardwood and the colourful details bring this home to life.
