When you paint cabinets the paint is supposed to adhere to them. The paint should not be coming up at all, let alone in sheets like this. A sure sign that the wrong type of paint was used, as well as poor preparation being done.

After a lot of work scraping down the cabinets and many coats of paint stripper we were back to the original finish.

Unfortunately the doors and drawers could not be salvaged, so we had new ones made to replace the old ones.
