The design of the elevator featured here is round with a curved single slide. The unit had to fit where there was a large structural concrete column in one corner. The top of the car had to be light and did not allow for the door operator to be above the car. The solution was to use our exclusive under-platform door operator “Galaxy”. As you can see, the top of the glass cab has no obstruction above it, not only is this an appealing aesthetic design like no other, the clean glass ceiling provides more light into the elevator as well.
