This residential landscape design located in an upscale neighborhood is what we call a "contemporary formal" style layout that includes long, soft curves with multiple plant material layers. We start with a dwarf ornamental grass border, then a boxwood hedge, then an evergreen blooming shrub such as azalea, hawthorn or Burford holly as the background planting. Finally, we used Savannah Holly evergreen trees to frame the architecture of the house.
