If you look at the floor in this penthouse, you'll notice the mosaic dial in the center of the floor. The floor of this entire apartment was concrete so I decided to have the entire surface painted to look like large limestone tiles. The mosaic you see here is also painted on, as well as the mosaic trim around the perimeter of the room. A glaze was then applied to stop any chipping that may have taken place on either the mosaics or the faux-limestone tiles. The effect was rich and sumptuous, and was also super easy to clean and maintain. Floor painting can be an excellent choice.
