Rice Pied-A-Terre
The Rice Pied-A-Terre was a full upfit and refurbishment of an existing 1855 Carriage House. The architect took care to make the small building seem large with the front Gallery that runs along the windowed side of the building and connects the spaces creating a generous flow of space. The existing fabric of the building is still in tact as evidenced by the exposed Heart of Pine beams and brick exterior wall seen homogeniously throughout the house.
