What started as an unfinished 600 sqf basement ended up as a chic entertainment area and a kids play area. To save on space we've installed a bar against a wall with plenty of storage, space for a wine and beer fridge and a sink. We've custom made a floating shelf to add more character and break up the herringbone pattern subway tile backsplash.

An electric fireplace was used because there were a couple of young kids in the home and to get a more modern look. It was covered by a snow white stone veneer.

The floors are 12.mm laminate.
