River Front Project

The Client were looking for a way to transform a unusable hillside lake lot into a functional space for entertaining and enjoying the views of the lake. Some of the Challenges for this project include Limited access to the back yard, 2 trees had to be removed in order to access the side yard which was only 6 ½’ wide between the house and a fence. Steep hillside also made for challenging working conditions for the crew. Working on a lake lot also required City, County and DNR Permits
Material used for the project was Unilock Avante Ashlar with a brussels block border for the patio. The retaining walls, seat walls, pillars and stairs were constructed of Unilock Estate wall with a fulnose step treads and Unilock Brussels xl caps for the walls .
The clients now have a space in there back yard that not only provides beautiful view to the lake, but has also tripled the usable space in their back yard and makes it easy to transition from the house down to the lake with large flowing stairs. The back yard takes on a whole new look at night with lots of LED lighting incorporated into the walls, steps, pillars and plant beds. The Hanken are in love with their new back Yard
