"This urban rustic side table is an example of the Wardenclyffe's spontaneity. Designed as it was built, the base was created to fit the visual weight and colors of the aluminum-poured table top. The cabinet, surrounded by the oak legs, reflects the scorched edges around the aluminum river on top. This gives the whole table a more dramatic, but not unnatural contrast with its surroundings. The oak legs are colored so as to be the happy medium that bridges the dark cabinet to the swarthy but lighter top. These steppings-stones of color and volume reinforce and celebrate this side table's sense of natural harmony without distraction."
