Our clients hail from Maine and wanted to bring some of that New England charm to their Maryland home. For the cabinetry, we selected a white painted shaker style for a clean crisp look. The backsplash is a hand-glazed white ceramic tile with a cream-color countertop. Two islands were included in the design to make the most of the long linear space. The first functions as additional cookware storage and the second features an eating area with contrasting warm brown cabinetry and an exotic granite. Dark bronze light fixtures and hardware contrast the white. The accessories add pops of color throughout the kitchen.
