Rocky Mountain Contemporary Landscape

This contemporary home was built on the foothills of Pikes Peak, and the homeowner wanted to blend the native Rocky Mountain Landscape with the architecture of the house. The landscape utilized huge boulders salvaged from the site, three water features, flagstone foot paths, and low architectural retaining walls. Large massings of plant materials consisting of a blend of indigenous and non-native plantings ties the house to the foothills vegetation.
