This is my own home that I moved into with my two young kids and my widowed dad. It's the perfect layout for all of us. We were not planning to renovate the kitchen when we bought it, but some issues came to our attention and we ended up gutting it. We were able to really open up the space, replace a small aluminum slider with a much larger window looking out to our backyard view, and created much more pantry and storage space.
