The Concord Carpenter (aka Robert Robillard) is a carpenter in the Boston/Massachusetts area. He installed Roof & Gutter De-Icing cables on a house in order to prevent the buildup of ice dams, which can cause long-lasting damage to the inside and outside of the home. Self-regulating cables for the roof and gutter melt snow and ice to keep a drain path for water to flow freely away from the house. The DS-8C was installed as the sensor control for the cables.
