To fulfill the owner’s desire for a Japanese styled garden, an urban garden oasis was created through the use of linear bluestone slabs and plants rich in texture. A flooding problem was eliminated through the removal of the existing pavers, the addition of rain barrels and the incorporation of a rain garden into the final design.
