Originally designed by the noted Hungarian architect and Princeton professor Victor Olgyay, author of the celebrated book Design with Climate. The entire home was renovated with a focus on using modern materials and craft to create a new kitchen and bathrooms. Existing finishes such as terrazzo floor were restored. Emphasis was also given to energy conservation and to creating new systems for mechanical, plumbing and electrical.
