Rosemont Kitchen Project
A little recap - this 4plex was built in 1928 and while trying to preserve its beautiful architectural features, we really wanted to bring it into the 21st century.
We started by removing the wall (where our island presently is) that ran from the brick chimney right across to the pantry area. So as to achieve this, we had a steel beam installed. We relocated all plumbing and electrical and gave this kitchen a new foot print!
Now, please keep in mind, that the clients were moving from a single family home in the suburbs - to a 4plex in the city. We wanted to ensure that the transition from one home to the other was as smooth as possible. We worked very hard to ensure that even though they were giving up on square footage - we were going to make this kitchen very functional and very beautiful, which I am proud to say we achieved!
The Rosemont kitchen has all the bells and whistles, starting with the matching covered fridge and dishwasher panels, the SOS sink front, the amazing space saving Le Mans, awesome pantry w/pull out drawers, pull out spice rack, pull out trash/rec/compost and aventos (to discreetly tuck away the microwave)
