The homeowners were thrilled with the great bones of this Sag Harbor home, built in 1833, and the rustic beauty of the exposed brick and rough-sawn wood beams in the kitchen space. The challenge for the design team was to re-imagine a kitchen that would not seem out of place at a time when Sag Harbor was a bustling whaling community, while still conveying a modern aesthetic and functionality.
