Royal Oak, MI Master Bathroom Remodel
www.mainstreetdesignbuild.com
This master suite and bathroom were part of a whole house interior remodel and needed major repairs, updating and had very little storage. Entering the master suite directly from the family room wasn’t ideal, therefore, adding a hallway with a built-in bench and storage gives a foyer-like feel, but can also be used a comfy dressing area. Utilizing a vacant rear exterior stairwell, we added a walk-in closet directly off of the master bath.
The new well-appointed master bath is large enough for two, but still feels warm and cozy enough for one person to start or end their day in luxury. Custom cherry cabinetry in a smokey stained finish by Omega Custom Cabinetry is used for the vanity, linen storage and then followed through into the bench seating area, with wainscot and more tall storage. The Caesarstone quartz countertop carries through to all of the thresholds and shower shelving. One of our favorite features in the bathroom was the use of an amazing laser cut glass and marble Arabesque Versillia floor tile and a porcelain Timber look wall tile. The stainless Delta fixtures and bronze mirror and lights finish the truly unique space with a 21st century urban feel.
